Meet The Founder:

For over a decade, Kayla Lane has been a devoted educator in the field of Exceptional Student Education, holding a Master's in Early Childhood Development and Early Childhood Special Education. Her life's work has centered around one powerful belief, every child, regardless of ability, deserves to be heard, understood and celebrated.

Her teaching philosophy has always been simple yet powerful: never put limits on a child’s potential. She has witnessed firsthand that when educators meet students where they are, and open the door to learning in ways that honor their individuality, growth follows in extraordinary ways.

Founding KL Bridges was the natural next step in her mission. The app reflects her lifelong goal to create tools that bridge communication, calm, and confidence for children with unique needs. It is built with the same heart, patience, and purpose that she brings into every classroom — a place where learning feels joyful, safe, and empowering.

Kayla says, "Working with my students is not just what I do; its my gift". Through KL Bridges, she hopes to extend that gift to families, educators, therapists and children everywhere, bringing a sense of happiness, calmness, and connection to every child who touches it.
